If its not too much trouble, could somebody snap a picture of an Orion VII on the 24P before the route is gone for good?
Blue Line Shuttle to Franconia-Springfield.

Want me to make a destination sign for you? Just send me a PM and I'll have it made in no time.

Is an iPhone shot good enough?  I'll be at the Pentagon this evening but as many seniors can tell you...I once had a prettttty bad experience accidentally snapping a shot at the Pentagon (this was before they posted signs, which went up in my honor).

Also, they've been running 3000s on that route pretty consistently (WMATA? Really?!!) as of late; is that a problem?

I'll also try to get one at Pentagon but not inside the station. Maybe outside of it by the 395 bridge where it turns on Army-Navy.

Hmm...I thought I had a shot of a 30-footer on the 24P...I guess not

but at least I have this:

Looks like Metro is capitalizing on ad space, with the ad on the roof.

This picture is probably a couple years old, 94.7 later ditched "World Class Rock" for classic rock then flipped to "Fresh FM" earlier this year.

believe it or not, that picture was taken sometime this summer, like DE42LFA says, around 2 months back. This bus, plus another Orion VII CNG (2524 I think, or some bus between 2524 and the 2540s) still have that ad.

I thought 94.7 was Lite Rock, yet contempoary. Easy Listening.

Then again, I come from the days, when THE Greaseman was the AM disc jockey on WAPE in Jacksonville Fl, and came, followed me up to DC after I got out of The Navy.

DC 101 & WAVA (105.9??) were the 2 classic rock stations.

But then again, I remember when Bus Drivers made change!!
Can't go wrong, with a classic ANYTHING!
