Maybe Bertha Butt & the Butt sisters got on at the same time, and there were no other seats, 'cept on the starboard side of the bus?  ;D
Can't go wrong, with a classic ANYTHING!

Did anyone catch this on Mythbusters?

It's their attempt to prove or disprove what happened in the movie "Speed" where Keanu Reeves character had riders move from one side of the bus to the other while hurtling around curves at 55 mph.  They proved that not only does it work, preventing the bus from rolling over, but also that the bus won't roll when the load was evenly distributed. To get it to flip they had to add weight to the roof to raise the center of gravity.

Oops - look like 2 of the lifts went up...and the other ones didn't follow suit!  Or the bus was misplaced, lol.
My favorite buses:
1989 SEPTA AN440: 19 years in service
1989 NJT Metro Bs: 21 years in service
1990 WMATA 93/9400 Flxes: 20 years in service!
1990-92 Ride-On Orion Is: 17-18 years in service!

Tell me again I have no taste in buses...
