According to the January 4, 2009 edition of THE NEW YORK TIMES, Italy's national railway, Trenitalia, started a new high speed service between Naples and Milan in December 2008.  The service reduces travel time to 4 hours and 50 minutes between the two cities. "New perks aboard the high-speed line include free newspapers, beverages and snacks."   For more information and reservations: www.italiarail.com.
