This morning, Christmas Eve 2009, NBC-TV sports reporter, George Michael, passed away at Sibley Hospital in Washington DC. He was only 70.

George built The Redskins Report & also The Sports Machine, which was broadcast nationally in syndication.

He served as Sports Reporter for WRC-TV from 1980 - 2007.

I'm sure that Jack Kent Cooke, is meeting him at the great beyond, with a cigar & a bottle of brandy to share.

George, you will be missed. :'(
Can't go wrong, with a classic ANYTHING!

Yea. I was talking to a Metrobus operator at Brookland today and he told me a friend of his sent a text saying George Michael had died. I remember seeing him the 2 years I was living on campus and he was a very funny and likable guy. The chemistry between him and Jim Vance was just perfect. I'm surely going to miss him.

George Michael and Glenn Brenner can now clown around in heaven and have a good ol' time.
