Happy Thanksgiving!! As I write this it's only 10:20AM so we have some time before eating any dinner stuff.  We aren't doing much today since it's just the four of us, so we're not much in a hurry to get to the grub.  We'll probably eat late afternoon.  Just enjoying the 4-day weekend.  Taking my 3 year old to the car show tomorrow so that will be fun.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone here at DCATZ.

In response to the original post in this thread, Thanksgiving is almost a non-event in my family.  We haven't had dinner yet, and almost half of my immediate family isn't even here for the holiday.  Some other relatives will be here, but the big family gathering for us is at Passover.  We will have between 20 and 30 guests each night for the first two nights of that holiday, whereas tonight there will only be 8 of us.

Happy Thanlksgiving everybody.

This year we're not doing much as we travelled the last 2 years.  Today we slept in, then had a late breakfast at Silver Diner.  Next we went to the Madame Tussaud wax museum and American Indian museum.  Arrived home around 5:30 PM and we're about to have dinner in the next few minutes.  Of course I'm also watching football as I type.  The Cowboys and Seahawks just went into halftime.

Happy Thanksgiving!  It was quite this year - I just mainly caught up on my sleep and am planning the annual Black Friday trip to DC to transit fan as well as to visit my family - I haven't seen them since the summer, after all...
My favorite buses:
1989 SEPTA AN440: 19 years in service
1989 NJT Metro Bs: 21 years in service
1990 WMATA 93/9400 Flxes: 20 years in service!
1990-92 Ride-On Orion Is: 17-18 years in service!

Tell me again I have no taste in buses...

And a Happy Thanksgiving back to you all -- the scanner was going a little crazy Wednesday up here -- people seem to not realize that we have snow up here -- I-68 was a little "interesting"

We had wild weather here.  It actually rained for two straight days which is really rare. We've only had a total of 1.5 inches of rain all year!! I think we got most of it this week.   On Mt. Charleston, about 20 miles from me, there is several inches of snow.  Funny to be in the 70's down here, and look up and see lots of snow.

Thanksgiving weekend has been lots of fun so far.  Took Joey to the car show today which he was in heaven, hooked up our new TV tonight and still two more days off!! :-)
