Unfortunately, the outing that I was supposed to go on tomorrow which included a ride on the light rail here in Jerusalem (still officially scheduled to open in August but unlikely to open until October from what I'm hearing) got canceled due to a strike by the operators that they timed to coincide with this outing, so the photos I thought I was going to be able to share this week that I alluded to in another post aren't going to be taken, at least not yet.  However, I did wind up along the part of the line that runs along the Old City walls this afternoon and finally got some photos of that section.

I'm afraid cars blocking the box and train crossings is going to be a common occurrence up and down the line.  I heard the trains use their horns (in addition to their bells) a few times today due to people blocking the tracks, either with their cars or just pedestrians.  The horn sounds more like a car horn than anything else.

And here is one last shot from the section where the ROW runs in the middle of the highway heading north away from the Old City and Downtown.
