I have always been concerned about the general lack of world geography knowledge evident in many United States residents, so I thought it would be useful to start this thread and keep us up-to-date on current events.

First question:  There used to be a country called Yugoslavia.  Over the past 20 years or so it has been divided into six nations and one disputed territory.  What are the names of the six nations and the disputed territory?  The answer will appear on Sunday, 2/27/2011 and the winner will get a free ride on ICC express routes 201 & 202 during the first two weeks of March 2011 (just like everyone else - lol).

The answer to the question about the identity of the new nations that emerged from the country formally known as Yugoslavia is:  Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, Macedonia, Slovenia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and the disputed territory of Kosovo.
