New route 74

It basically seems to be a short turn service for the Southern end of the 70/71.  I guess it would've been too much to add this route to the current 70/71 brochure.

They are effectively splitting the current 70 at Archives, I think separating them out made the most sense.

The press release for this weekend's changes includes a rerouting of the N2, is it going back to its former alignment along Mass Ave to Westmoreland Circle and then straight up Western to FH?

Yep. Plus, they changed a few trips on the N3 to start at Jenifer & 44th instead of the terminal. I think a couple of N2 or N4 trips also leave from Jenifer St as well (and these are not Western pull outs).
