What's so sad is they won't be the last.  There was one school district or a few who were thinking of putting ads on of all things, schoolbuses.  What's worse is that there will be controversies with some of the lines that are under a corporate name.

Can you say "Route 79-The Jim Beam/Georgia Avenue Limited"

What's also sad is that when the cuts come from the government, a transit agency has to do what a transit agency has to do.  You can cut service so much or raise fares so much, that there has to be another way of getting funding.
