Yes, it happened near Baltimore I think. From what it looks like, this bus is retired.

Just read on Wiki that this bus had an engine fire last month and exploded. Is that true, can anyone confirm this? Is this bus scrapped?

I am going to right now start a preliminary flashback photo thread and see if this is going to gain some momentum.  If this is successful, I will add more or others will add more.  The way I have it planned is that each bus model that ran in the DC area would have its own subject (as you see in this particular title). It will cover all of this model (aka the Flxible Metro) and will cover all of the agencies that used this bus in the DC area.  So if you have old photos of the Metro from WMATA, Ride On and University of Maryland, feel free to post them here.  I will add some a little later tomorrow and like I said if this goes well we can add other models later.

Spotted NABI BRT 42 #8047 on the 18R yesterday. Later, I saw DE42LFA #6422 (Blue) deadheading in Braddock Metro. Lastly, spotted ARTranist NABI 35LFW #5256 Deadheading in Alexandria OOS.

Seeing and posting flashback photos on the Facebook site, I was thinking that one should be on here, what does everyone think about that? It would be just like the monthly photo board here but it would just be continuous.  Another idea would be flashback photos based on make (example Flxible flashback, Orion flashback etc).
