The DC government actually owned/purchased the Orion IIs. They only operated out of Bladensburg(D4, D8(Sundays), H6,  K1, K2, U2, U4, X6) and Western(98, D2, E6, H5, H7, M4).

I noticed Bladensburg operating the U lines again (U4 yesterday). And Northern operating  30N (N310) last night. Any more shakeups?

Just saw non revenue 7134 on New York Ave. with BD45 as the block

30N, 30S, 31 & 33 will be operated by Western. 32,34 &36 will be operated by Bladensburg and Shepherd Pkwy (AM only).

Seems good. Since we can assume the 32/ trips will be eliminated due to new terminus, will FMR do any relief?

I wonder if Shepherd Parkway or Bladensburg will take over some of the new 30s?

I mean, if some 2100s go to FMR, they'll probably send more 2500s to Bladensburg and in exchange, some 7000s may get the boot elsewhere. This, on top of the 8000s arriving is going to be chaotic because they will probably shift some 6300s and 6500s around. I think it's best they delay the closing until Cinder Bed is done next year. Maybe they'll send some 2100s to storage until than, but I hope this does not effect service.

You're making this more complicated. They'll split the 2100s around the region and give some of FMR downtown routes to Bladensburg to reduce deadhead. West Ox would some FMR routes on weekdays

But with one depot down, they'll be a surplus of buses.

It's not the first time. When southeastern closed they had 105 buses and was using the u-haul lot for overhaul storage because they were beyond max capacity. Last time I checked, Royal had less than 105.

At this time, Royal has about 83 buses.

Thats my point. They have fewer buses than Southeastern and the rest of the 4200-4400s will be retired.
