4  Mile. i rarely see a bus from them break down, and never noticed issues about their buses, but probly because they only have one fleet of buses.

A 60 Ft Bus has a better turning radius of a 40ft as long as the driver knows how to drive. But the 80 ,B2 ,U2 ,96  ,92 ,A Letter Routes,79 ,F4 ,P12 ,C22 ,16's, Are the few i can name that could use tics. And also, the agency should use tics during late night/Weekends. And More tics on rail shuttles.

I drove pass their garage, all the DL were chilling by fence with big red letter on the rear of each saying "KEEP BACK 15 FT"

NY Did it....Bmore was doing it, but they still running them as best as they can, I wouldnt be suprised if ART did. Those buses have a crappy little "engine" back there.

I forgot what its term was back I say its the backfire. When the driver removes his/her foot from the accelerator it will make that sound. All CNG buses do it. Some of them do it quiet some of them do it loud like our 2500's. MTA's CNG Orion Vii's do it, but not as much  as WMATA's

My last question is about MTA - I'm considering a day in Baltimore but I'm not sure of where to look for some of the buses that eluded me last time I went. I never got any shots of their MCIs, but I know they run in DC and I know where to get them there. Their Opus and DE60LFR buses were nowhere to be found in 2010 and now I see that they have DE60LFs and Xcelsiors. Any help spotting these bus types is appreciated.

Well George seemed to answer everything for me lol, But on the Bmore part the Opus buses been retired, but for the LFR Tics they will always be on the 8 same for the LF Tics. You can also check the 77 route to and the 91 anytime of day, but rush hour is still always the best for more buses! Have fun!

Major changes include the F6 going to Ft Totten instead of Silver Spring anymore, going the way the R3 does, replacing the R3 from Ft Totten to Pg Plaza.  More bus trips on the F4. The R2 will no longer serve PG Plaza which I will miss alot. The S1will apparently be an official artic route, The P1,P2 will be discountinued, with the P6 taking their place then. The 9E Extended to Roslyn some trips,

And in the fall we will see the A9,16Y,16F,28X,J4 and a  Q9 Limited Stop. with the 79 also having weekend service!
