Dennis Tridents on elevator shuttles, I can definitely see that happening daily.

How about restoring off-peak service between Waldorf and Branch Avenue?

Amy Robach is pretty nice, she used to be on the Fox 5 morning news I think.

Alison Starling on the ABC 7 morning news is nice as well.  So is Eun Yang from NBC 4.

I love watching the Food Network so I'm gonna say Nigella Lawson.  Her show isn't on much but I really like her.  Giada de Laurentiis isn't bad either.

Also, as far as natural beauty, I've always liked Lacey Chabert, Christina Applegate, Lauren Graham, and Anne Hathaway.  I feel like they can go without makeup and still look good.

This guy's conclusion seems to be that WMATA is cutting back on the PM rush hour headways way too soon.  However, he is only using one line for his analysis which just happens to be the busiest one of all.  But, he is right about that line in particular, given how many major gathering points the line hits as it goes across DC and Maryland.  There's just so many people who have errands to run or places to see or go to after work.

Nice idea from WMATA, but the poster definitely has it wrong about the passes being little-known.  This also begs the question of when WMATA is going to phase in disposable paper SmarTrips and why they are slow to increase the accessibility of purchasing plastic SmarTrip cards.  It seems everywhere you go in NYC, you can find a place that sells a MetroCard.

DC Transit Today / Re: New WMATA Buses
July 25, 2008, 08:54:21 AM
It's not the top speed I'm worried about.  The 0-30 MPH acceleration is pitiful on those buses, at least from what I saw in LA.

If the ISL-G in these units are anything as sluggish as the ones out in LA, I can't wait to see one sling in and out of traffic on Georgia Avenue.
