I only remember riding 2 Virginia METROBUS routes in the MID 70's.
The #9 (I Don't remember the letter)
(unknown garage) 7days
ARCHIVES (10th & Penn) to FT BELVIOR
Crystal City & Southbound US #1 to Ft Belvior
NOTE:
If memmory serves me right, the #9 operated a different route overnight (OWL SERVICE) on the FT BELVIOR BASE than the base service.
The #11 (I Don't remember the letter)
(unknown garage) 7days
ARCHIVES to WOODLAWN
National Airport/Old Town Alex/Mt Vernon
Layover was 7/11 on Mt Vernon Memorial Hgwy, just east of US1/Richmond Hgwy
I remember the M6 that ran from Rosslyn to Union Station....the 38B took its place that operates from Farragut Square to Ballston.
Do any of you two remember any other 38 routes?
