This is an off-topic post concerning bus sound recording requests for buses ran by transit agencies outside of the DC area, recorded from 1980 (concerning the oldest buses mentioned) to the present day. Transit agencies will vary in regards to all the makes/models/powertrains of the buses whose recordings I am trying to find.
