Title: Does Montgomery still do the N and L (DC) routes?
Post by: OrionFlyer on February 26, 2009, 12:08:59 PM
Does Montgomery still do these routes or are they all Western now?

Montgomery is still doing this work, and I imagine it will be this way until the replacement division for Southeast opens.

Western still does them on the weekends though

So when the SE Division replacement opens, Montgomery won't those lines anymore and SE will?

Why would the Ns and Ls come out of SE?

Whenever a new garage opens, there are usually many shifts and changes.  Only time will tell us what actually happens.

Thought that would happen because of what Wayne said.

It was sort of a chain reaction that has most (if not all) divisions taking on extra work.  I say chain reaction because Montgomery is the perfect example in that it didn't get work directly from SE, but... Montgomery got some Western work, Western got some Northern work and Northern has some former SE stuff.  This makes since given the division locations/operating areas.  It's tricky to predict exactly what will happen when the SE replacement opens for business.  Between now and then Arlington will be replaced by West Ox and I'm sure some stuff may move around between West Ox, Four Mile and Royal.
