Title: New York: a D+ for the E Train
Post by: WMAveteran on January 31, 2009, 04:30:28 PM
THE NEW YORK TIMES reported the following in the 1/31/20009 edition: "Until now, every subway line for which New York City Transit has released a rider report card for 2008 - the A,B,D,J and Z,L,M and Nos 2,3,4,5 and 7 - has gotten an overall grade of C or C-minus."

"The streak has finally been interrupted, but not it a good way.  The E line, which runs from Jamaica, Queens, to the former World Trade Center, has received a D-plus, the same grade riders gave it in 2007."
