Title: PHOTOS from The Hague
Post by: WMATAGMOAGH on January 20, 2009, 11:51:47 PM
As promised, the next round of teasers from my latest website (www.orenstransitpage.com (http://www.orenstransitpage.com)) update is from The Hague, appropriate since it is the seat of government for the Netherlands and today is Inauguration Day in this country, and because it is connected to Rotterdam (http://www.dctransit.info/forums/beyond-the-beltway-b21/photos-from-rotterdam/ (http://www.dctransit.info/forums/beyond-the-beltway-b21/photos-from-rotterdam/)) by the RandstadRail Erasmuslijn.

The local transit operator is HTM Personenvervoer.  They operate all the local tram lines and bus lines, as well as the RandstadRail light rail lines, which I believe have taken over parts of HTM routes that existed prior to the start of RandstadRail.  Here are photos of both standard HTM trams and RandstadRail trams:

FYI:

Jan Den Oudsten is a principal owner of New Flyer but his family's company Den Oudsten Bussen, NV is not involved.
