I was in Seattle all day Saturday and i rode around of course! I even rode the monorail and the Gillig Phantom trolley buses. I was looking for the Breda trolley buses but i dont think they run on week ends. I even rode the S.L.U.T. (South Lake Union Trolley) its actually the old acrynom its now the S.L.U.L. because it might "offend" somebody. Heres a pic

Most of their buses tend to be Articulateds 95% are New Flyers the other 5% are the Breda that they converted to trolley buses from the old duel modes they have about 50 Bredas left. I also rode the Tacoma Link but not the Sounder commuter rail. They were testing the Sounder light rail today and saw a few running around but couldnt get pics heres the rest of my pics.

I had a great time in Seattle.  Rode every type of bus on the fleet.  One day I visited the Boeing factory in Everett.  I rode a Sound Transit express (I forget the route) out to the burbs where I transferred to a Community Transit local bus to the factory.  Those bus rides were sweet and all of the bus operators had their rrrrrolling.

We drove to Vancouver for a day, but I didn't do any transit stuff, but saw lots of BC Transit buses and Flyer ETBs.

Nice shots, but those photo files are very large and do not show well on some Internet browsers.  If possible, you should resize these files to around 1200x900 or so for easier viewing.

Nick, thanks for sharing your photos.  Sorry to see they renamed SLUT.  I was in Seattle a few days before it opened so I haven't been on it yet.

Vancouver has a good transit scene, but the city is beautiful and worth visiting regardless.

I had the same problem as Railbus, and it isn't only in this thread.

I suggest everyone consider downloading EZThumbnails. a freeware program that copies and reduces the size of your images to make it easier for others to load them.  All my website photos are run through this program to make the sizes more managable for my viewers.  The software is free, and it does not overwite your original image (though you can set it to do so if you really want to).  It can be downloaded from http://www.fookes.com/ezthumbs/.  I've been using it for quite a few years now and it is great.
