Post by: LandoverDivision on November 12, 2008, 08:06:21 PM
Here's what I think are the most lenthiest routes from each division:

Arlington: 2B,C
Four Mile Run: 23A,C
Landover: C29
Western: 30s
Northern: 30s, 90/92
Montgomery: Ys
Southern Ave Annex: 30s, D13,14

Just a repetition from you 2 (plus some more that I find very long)

Annex - I don't know, the W13, P17-19, NH1?
Arlington - 1 line, 2B, 2C
Bladensburg - D6, R3 (maybe more R routes and other lines)
Four Mile Run (not Rush Hr / Weekends) - 23A
Landover - I don't know much about Landover, but all I can think of is the F4, F6, and R12
Montgomery - Q2, Y line, possibly Z line
Northern - 70/71, 90s, S line
Royal - 28A, 28B, 29K, probably some Pentagon routes
Western - 32, 36 hands down

For Mongotmery, please please add the C2. That route is very long. From Greenbelt Station to Wheaton, very long. The A12 isn't really that long. I rode it from Addison to C P. Its not all that long.

Oh yeah, the B21, B22 are long too.

I believe him. I've seen Annex buses with Annex blocks on Landover routes that are close to the Annex division.

Speaking of Annex I think the longest route is the W4. That route is crazy! The way it goes from Anacostia to Capitol Plaza is very long.

Yeah, when it goes to Capital Plaza from Anacostia and vice versa. Almost an hour and a half ride.

The 29X was at one time and may still be the longest WMATA bus route at over 30 miles.  This is due to its trip from the Pentagon down I-395 to going on the Beltway and circling around Annandale.  I do not know if it is currently the longest route.
