Title: MTA in Baltimore to celebrate Rosa Parks' Annversary
Post by: WMAveteran on November 11, 2008, 01:54:51 AM
On December 1, 2008, MTA busses in downtown Baltimore will reserve the front seats to celebrate the December 1, 1955 anniversary of Rosa Parks refusal to give up her seat in Alabama.  It seems appropriate that we should celebrate the election of Barack Obama and the Rosa Parks anniversary in the same year.

Awesome. This made me wish I was in B-More. To celebrate one of the greatest African-American figures in history, is just awesome.

True. As for the front seats, I'm pretty sure alot of people are going to try to sit in them seats (especially if its a crowded bus).
