Title: NYCTA train on F line derailment
Post by: WayneNYC on May 02, 2014, 03:50:33 PM
This morning at the end of the AM rush hour.  Southbound F train (R-46 consist) was making express run between Roosevelt Ave-Jackson Heights to 21st-Queensbridge when it derailed near the 65th Street station.

All service between Queens Plaza and 71st-Continental, Forest Hills is suspended.  The TA has a shuttle bus operation in the affected area, and hopes to restore local service in the area for the PM rush hour.

Damn, you beat me to it. Just saw this on subchat. Shuttle bus service? From what I heard, people were heading to the Q53 bus and the LIRR to get around.
