Does anyone think that FMR will get a piece of the order? Perhaps they might transfer out some more Orion VII CNGs to Bladensburg to kill off the C40LF CNGs. Or would they send them straight to Bladensburg to replace the New Flyer C40LFs? What do you guys think?
Bladensburg has had theirs since 2001. The Orion VIIs are the newer order. I would expect FMR would get the 2500s back and Bladensburg to receive the new order.
That would make sense now that I think about it.
Anyone think a C40LF would be saved for the museum? I mean we can all pretty much assume that Metro will eventually save an Orion V, but a C40LF?
Actually, it would seem that Cinder Bed will be a new CNG garage and Shepard Parkway will also gain a CNG station in the near future. So it's likely that CNG buses will be more of a common sight around the system.
