The Great Scale Model Train Show and Railroad Marketplace will take place on June 22-23, 2013 at the Maryland State Fair Grounds, Timonium MD in the air-conditioned Exhibit Building. Saturday June 22, 2013, 9-4,; Sunday June 23, 2013, 10-4.
Admission on Saturday is $9, under 15 free, Family $18. Admission on Sunday is $8, under 15 free, Family $15.

It would be cool to see some model subway trains too. You know, like what NYCT has.
There are vendors there who sell subway models in various scales. I obtained a set of NYCTA classic "red cars" each with a different car number displaying the Pelham Bay Park/Brooklyn Bridge destination sign on the front and side for the "6" train.
