49 injured, four seriously, as trains collide in Connecticut (http://msnbcmedia.msn.com/j/MSNBC/Components/Photo/_new/130517-Bridgeport-trains-845p.photoblog600.jpg)

All train operations are halted between New York and Boston.
An east bound train derailed at 6:10pm EDT and struck a west bound train between Fairfield and Bridgeport CT. Unfortunately those look like brand new M8 cars.

Confirmed, those are brand new MNRR M8s. :-\
