The docket is now online at WMATA's website on proposed changes to Metrobus service including Silver Line Phase I.

A lot of those changes actually look a bit promising. I'm still wondering as to why Metro doesn't just give the 15M to Connector. From these proposed changes, it seems as though they probably could do with running that line instead of Metro. The A9 routing to McPherson Square came as a little shock to me. There will actually be buses running in the 9th and 12th Street tunnels in revenue service. Another thing was having it serve 9th & Maine SW. It's been years since any Metrobus went there (a la the 70).

In regards to the 15M being given to FFX Connector, actually it partly was given to them at one time. FFX Connector used to run the off peak version of that line from GMU to Tyson's, but apparently it didn't work too well as it was discontinued a little after that.  All I remember was them using bread trucks, yelch, yes FFX Connector once used bread trucks.
