Those buses look sweet, especially those newer model MAN's! And its funny but also a good idea that they used there old buses and converted them into work buses and such.
Thanks. I've only been on the newer MAN artics 3 times I think. They still have a new bus feel to them, very clean, run fairly well. They are supposed to have automated annoucnements for each stop, but I've never seen the system work.

John: The discs in the platform edge are LED lights that illuminate at night, I think primarily to mark the edge of the platform. They remind me of the Metro a bit, but they don't flash as the train approaches.
Wayne: I love the scenery, too. The vast majority of these photos were taken in places that most people who go to Jerusalem never see, those people miss out on the amazing views of the city and surrounding area from these places as well.

That's what I thought. You answered my follow up question, no flashing for approaching trains. They look like they are further apart then the ones on metrorail platforms, roughly 54", the lights in the edge of metrorail platforms are 50" apart.
I'll get you a picture of them lit up at some point I'm sure. They are also much smaller than the WMATA lights.

Forgot to point out that I noticed that as well, The fixtures look like there just under 3" in diameter, the glass disks in the WMATA platforms are 6 1/2" in diameter
