Title: WaPo Article about WFC Yard Expansion
Post by: WMATAGMOAGH on January 17, 2011, 09:09:34 AM
Today, the Post wrote about the expansion of the WFC yard to accommodate the new rail line.  This line has been on the drawing board since the beginning of time essentially, why are the neighbors surprised that the line is being built?

Naivete at best. Honestly, whoever thought the exurb/suburb areas outside the Washington area were ever going to become even more developed. It's always been the case with urban expansion across the country for years. In a few years, we might see Loudoun, PW, and maybe even Stafford County experience a big boom in population growth (mainly due to BRAC).
