Many in Jerusalem follow the tradition of lighting their chanukiyot in the doorways of their homes, instead of just placing them in the window facing the street as is the custom in the United States. Therefore, it is a lot of fun to walk through religious neighborhoods during or after candlelighting to see the chanukiyot on display.
