Title: For those of you in need of a cheap Flx fix!
Post by: btconet on November 26, 2010, 12:59:42 PM
MTA Maryland will be placing 9526 into service over three successive "three-day weekends" beginning Friday, December 3rd, 2010.

The specially decorated bus will circulate the system, giving customers a dose of holiday spirit and giving a nice flashback to Flxible fans as well.  The bus will run from about 730am to about 400pm on these days.  The rough schedule for the first weekend is as follows:

Friday 12/3
NB #36 Line
#50 Line
WB #22 Line

EB #57 Line
EB #44 Line
WB #35 Line (partial trip)

Saturday 12/4

RT on #56 Line
SB #54 Line
NB #3 Line (partial trip)
WB #23 Line

Sunday 12/5

Mr. Net,

Which of these lines gives a good dose of speed, other than the 14?

Oh my!  And I never got to ride the MTA Metro Es either!  This is quite nice, thanks for the heads up!

I'll give an answer at well. The 11 is a good one from Towson south to Northern Parkway especially on a Sunday with light ridership.

Heh, based on the fact that the "speed runs" are on Sunday, it seems like that would be the best day to ride!

Thank you for the info.  FLXIBLE: Feels Like Xmas In Bus Lines Everywhere.  I'd love to get up there for this since I never got to ride an MTA Flx while they were still in service, but hopefully they'll do this again next year.  On that note, what's the work for NYCTA's Holiday retro rides this yr?
