I wish the D40LFRs would have black doors and that piece under the windshield painted black when they put them in the new scheme. They'd look fantastic then! Dunno why they do it for the C40LFRs and not the D40LFRs.

Nice pics Thomas. I've never seen any 5800s out on the weekend, especially on the 55.
As for the 70, I have no idea what code the operator was looking for but I know Rolling Valley Mall is nowhere near Silver Spring nor Half & O or Archives (codewise).
The WMATA codes are (or were last I knew) in alphabetical order, but there are plenty of ways to make a typo and get the wrong code...

They still are. I think the ones for the stations are in the 300s.
