Certainly not the first time for a 30-footer on the F4.  Back in the late 90s, I rode 5168 and 5169 on the F4 during the PM rush hour.

It seems that American University now has Gillig Advantages.  I saw it this afternoon on Nebraska Ave.  I didn't get to see if it was a 30 or 35 footer.  I'm pretty certain it wasn't a 40-footer and I'm sure it has just one door like their other buses.

Not too surprising IMO, those Gillig Phantoms must be over 15 years old at this point.

I don't see why not 4200s be there all the time, speaking of is the new Southeastern supposed to be 100% CNG or mixed?

07/19/10: I saw 2529 along northbound Glebe Rd at Pershing with the destination sign set to A9 L'ENFANT PLAZA STATION.  This was about 2:15pm - the bus must have been heading to Ballston to begin a run.  Seeing the A9 was not as interesting as the Orion V I saw last week with a Q4 SILVER SPRING STATION sign along EB I-66 near East Falls Church.

Looks like another West Ox move. I remember seeing 6403 at E Falls Church signed as Q4 Silver Spring as it was heading to West Ox. I talked to the operator who was sitting there and he told me it was going over to them. Since there have been a few buses heading to West Ox, it might be a move to get some 6500s to head up to Montgomery, but West Ox might be getting some in the near future as they only have quite a few there (6396-6409).

That's good news.  On that note, do you have any info on the status of 67/6891 or the remaining 30-footers? (NOTE: The above would be the opposite of good news on the buses in question.)

Has anyone seen 925529 lately?  I'm hoping it's still around.  When I rode it on the 22 back in March, the driver said it wasn't supposed to be on the road but somehow slipped by.

Told ya so ;) . When I was Crystal City Station, One of the 3000 series Orions VII's was the FMR shuttle. The CD voice, said something then, Four Mile Run Shuttle. I'm not sure if it was F99, but I know for sure it said Four Mile Run Shuttle.

What I don't get is why Clever Devices have the division shuttle routes programmed.

Are they possibly trying to standardize things and getting rid of the MetroExtra branding?  I got back from 2+ weeks vacation this morning so I don't know if any other buses are doing the same thing.

Also, from this morning, some (if not all) of the platform lights at National Airport, center track, VA side were flashing.  And there were quite a few 8 car trains in service on the Red Line heading towards Glenmont at about 10 AM.
