When is their Native-American community (or for that matter, the lightskinned brothers and sisters) going to start an uproar over the line out to North Springs.
Are guys who haven't gotten any "special attention" as of late and in a state because of it going to be in fury about the term "Blue Line?"
Should anyone who doesn't live on the green line feel offended that MARTA obviously feels their communities are less prosperous, and potentially more ripe to neglect?
CTA damn sure better watch out! They've got two line designators that could have subversive implications!

MARTA could've avoided this by swapping out the colors. Have the Yellow/Gold go to lily white North Springs and vice versa.
As for CTA, here's some trivia that came up when they named what now is the Pink Line: There is a ban on White and Black for future line colors "just in case".
I'll tell you for our new BRT line on the Strip, the ACE Gold Line, we actually had it designated Red Line, but changed it out of fears conjuring thoughts of being in the 'red' while on the Strip. I kid you not, we changed colors late in the process of developing the route.
I guess NYCTA did the right thing with letters and numbers seeing as they'd need like 24 colors for all of the subway routes:-).
