Is there something I'm missing here? Any help is welcome.

1st step is to look on the DC transit tool bar
(home, help, The Rules, search, Profile)

Under PROFILE, in tje lefthand column, your choices are:
Account Settings
forum profile
look and layout

Under FORUM PROFILE, you will see the options for:
Personalized Picture
I have my own picture
I Will upload my own picture

I WILL UPLOAD MY OWN PICTURE is the option you want, if you have a picture in your computers harddrive to use as your picture Avatar's picture. . . your own signature here.
