I'll add more detail later, but for now, since this is a Washington board, I found it appropriate to post pictures of Mississauga's Washington reject Orion V's (we have 35, numbered 9701-9735).
Also, for those wondering, for 2010 Mississauga Transit has ordered 15 Orion VII hybrids, 20 Orion VII diesel buses, and 22 New Flyer D60LFR buses. Yes you read correctly, we're going back to Orion after hating our 2001 VII's (then again they were the first ones ever built)
Serious question: On a Saturday, what routes are most likely to have the WMATA rejects? I might, might take a detour out there for the culture clash!
Semi-serious question: Why didn't you give us your old school D60LF's that you just passed off to scrap. We could've used them as a thank you gift to finally retire the 5200's while H Street NE is a mess. ;) And you Canadians usually keep your buses forever...

Which is why WMATA should be looking for second-hand artics, somewhere (and why Mississauga missed the boat by scraping artics that barely were at US retirement age and were young for a Canadian bus to be retired). Get about 20-25 artics to retire the 5200's and to give some for Landover, can't be that hard to find some on the secondhand market.
