Hmmm I'll try this, Does anyone like to see a New Flyer GE35/40/60LF/LFR/LFA, and correct me if I'm wrong some NABI gasoline electric buses.
Right now only New Flyer is doing gasoline-electric hybrids and AFAIK all that have been ordered are in California.
Question: Do GE buses need to have a special garage due to the gas it takes like CNG buses? Or can you just fuel them at regular garages like hybrids?
I think they use Gasoline? If Im correct.
I've heard through the transit fan grapevine that the gasoline hybrids are having a lot of problems compared to the diesel hybrid models.
An idea if those problems get ironed, say, by 2015: GE30LFR's or GE32LFA's for Ride On's gas bus routes in Takoma Park, good future idea or no?
Diesel is cleaner and more efficient than gasoline...so I'm not sure why these buses are really worth buying. There's a reason they haven't gotten out of California.
Hopefully by 2015, we will have crossed the "bridge" that is hybrid technology and be running off of full battery packs. Or is that a pipe dream? :-)

SoCal and their damn restrictions on new diesel vehicles pretty much stirred up the whole gasoline hybrids. As to why you don't see any of these buses outside of California just gets me. Another thing Auhnuld needs to look at.

NABI, ElDorado National and NFI does make Gasoline Electric Buses.

Also I think Orion ,Millennium Transit Services(if they ever come back to business since there still at Chapter 11 bankuruptcy protection), and NOVABus should develop Gasoline Electric for their buses their producing currently as well.

Ya, Idk why Southern California put a Diesel ban when the law is so pointless. At least Northern California can order Diesel buses still. ;) Also any TA or Coach Operators in Southern California should have the rights to order Diesel bus besides California is the worst state.
