I don't know if this is the proper catagory to post these but anyway here are some of my models enjoy. Admin. maybe you could set up a seperate catagory for model buses, just a suggestion, Thanks , Mark
Did you do them yourself or did you buy those bad boys. If buy, from where???
The corgi fishbowl I bought from diecast direct, I think royal coach still has it and the 1/87 or HO models were custom made by a friend of mind, they were road champs, and the new flyer is made of bossa wood I believe. Oh the other corgi was custom painted...some friend, credit goes to Freddy.
Very impressive, thank you.
Dam thats nice. Im loving that Flx in he old paint. And do the wheels on any of those actually move?
Oh yea... I drive them all the time lol ;D
<singing> "the wheels on the bus, go Round & Round. . all thru the town" ;D
I forgot one enjoy...and before you bash me I know WAMTA never had these....it's strictly made up. Enjoy, Mark
Oh! as you can see it will bend slightly in both directions....it's 1/87 scale or HO
Dang a artic toy version? Thats tight right there. I feel like a kid right now. I want it so bad. Did you make these from scratch?
Found it in Germany, however I believe you may find one on ebay type in reitze bus...hope I spelled it right.
Many of those were models I did over the past few years, including the New Flyer, the Fishbowl, and almost all of the Flxes. Mark, good to see you on the board!

Thanks Fred it's a good place to be. I was cleaning off a jump drive and found some more of your work that I'll share with the board. Enjoy
I have more but I'll get to them later. :D
OK I'm back and here are a few photos of my 1/50 GRTC models one was done by Fred and the other a gentleman in Md. Now can you guess which one is which (final jeopardy music please)(and remember all answers must be phrased in a queston LOL). Enjoy ;D
Oh due to the fact of me being a poor bus driver there will be no prizes. LOL!
In the last picture, the one on the right is Fred's. Or...um...
A: "This bus model was painted and customized by Fred"
Q: "What is the one on the right?"
You're right the bus on the right(418) is the one Fred did, however I don't believe Richmond carried the orange across the back...,but it looks good.
The first two are being built in DASH colors and are already spoken for as we speak, and I have a third one available at this time. More can be made as I now have them in production. I also have a Gillig Phantom model available; again, the first two have been claimed and I currently have six more available. Get them while they last, and more model types shall follow. Both are in HO scale.
One of each will be on display this weekend at the Virginia State Transit Roadeo.
Cool! Can you please post pictures?
