Wow those are some sick looking streetcars. Can't wait to ride those!
The REAL Landover Division fan!

Took this one this evening, DC Streetcars parked on track 22 in Greenbelt Yard.

Never in my wildest fantasy would I have ever believed that anything other then heavy rail rapid transit cars would have found there way onto metrorail property.

Not the Cap I was talking about, I meant the CSX Capital Sub basically. I did see them this morning coming in on the MARC train. Yea, kinda weird seeing streetcars in a yard full of Metrorail cars.

Seeing these street cars makes me even more excited for the future Red Line in Baltimore.
Blue Line Shuttle to Franconia-Springfield.

Want me to make a destination sign for you? Just send me a PM and I'll have it made in no time.

Not to burst your bubble, Orion, but these are two very different projects, primarily in the fact that DC did not apply for a red cent in federal money for their project, so much less had to be done to get things moving.  Red Line goes up against two other MD rail projects all looking for federal money: Corridor Cities and the Purple Line.
