I think it would look better with the turn signals in the "beauty strip" with the headlights...but I digress.  I wonder if they were able to do something about the problem with LEDs being too direct (the light doesn't "spread" as much as incandescent lights, just like white streetlights doesn't "spread" or cover as much as yellow/orange streetlights...) -- usually to make LEDs worth anything, it takes an array of lenses to spread the light out.
