February 1, 2012: I encountered the most passengers I have ever seen (eight) on route 201 ICC express service.  I boarded MTA D4500 coach #169C in ICC wrap at the 7:05 pm departure from BWI Thurgood Marshall to Gaithersburg P&R.  One passenger had boarded at the BWI Amtrak station and seven (7) passengers boarded at the two airport stops.  One passenger alighted at Norbeck P&R, 4 passengers alighted at Shady Grove Metro and the remaining three passengers alighted at Gaithersburg P&R.   The word seems to be getting out (slowly).

Well today I finally got to ride a few of the Xcelesiors, overall they're decent, interesting seat configuration in the rear, un-WMATAlike, but eh.

6047 F14 Capitol Heights
-I spotted one of the new baby Gilligs for THE BUS and it's 62617????????, no comment.  Also 63131 was doing  the 25 along with 62617

7012 U8 Minnesota Avenue
-This bus would wind up later on the X9, along with 7017.  Got to Minnesota  Avenue Station passed up an X2 because it was almost standing room on it, passed up the next one because they were running late and that was almost standing room also.  One left the station without picking up anyone, I assume that was running late.  Saw 2462 which sounds like it still has it's JD.  Another X2 shows up, got a seat and before we even got to Benning Road, the bus was standing room.  X9 all day maybe?

Unidentified NABI 7th street

Went to the car show saw cars, test drove a few cars, got an ever growing headache and went home.

7096 X9 Capitol Heights Station
-Saw 6182 doing a 96 to McLean Gardens (I hope it was doing a round trip back to Capitol Heights because 2185 came after that on the 96 and went out of service.  Then saw 62618 arrive doing a 25.

2005 F14 last.

They started adding those the signs last Summer.  I think AU did their entire fleet.  Can't imagine why they chose the right to left scrolling, but it needs to be faster.

Ride On's 5574 is still alive; saw it at Wheaton today.
Also at Wheaton, 5451 on the Y9.
Also saw a few 42/4300s still kicking about today; including 4259, 4343, and 4347.

On a side note, I passed my two fender benders today; one on Veirs Mill Road (seen from the 48), the other on 270 (seen from the 71 while going home).
EDIT: Almost forgot: Another Phantom got OC'd, it was 5417. Ironically, I'm drinking a can of Orange Crush as I type this.

6344 on the 53 with some weird pink wrap.  Looks like a giant bottle of Pepto Bismol.

I saw that today as well riding the E line. It's weird to have an LFA wrapped. Btw, it's some wrap about puppy mills (PETA).

5016 on the 75. Was this a special trip due to today being a holiday, or is the 75 back to being a Nicholson route?

WMATAGMOAGH

There is a holiday schedule in effect today...
