Metrorail Maps

Greetings,

We need scans, photos, and actual Metrorail maps to complete an archive from the system's opening thru today.  If you can provide an actual map, we can image it and return it to you when we have completed the process.

Tristan,

From an earlier thread, I DO have some maps from the early years (including a wall map showingthe Green Line having an alignment to Rosecroft.)  As soon as I get the chance, I'll take pictures and e-mail them to you,

This is very very much appreciated.  It might be a good idea to illuminate the room well and take pictures of 1/4 of each map at a time...send me the 4 shots and I can splice them together.  This will ensure a higher quality digitization (larger size).

Of course, a single photo is good as well!

I'll do both....I'm not a photographic genius, so I'll take extras and you can do what you want with them....I'll normally have you come to the house, but I'm 3 hours away.

We never got any maps, so nothing :-/

I'm sure once we ramp up output, more contributions will come.

I have 5 map
1976: Unfortunately it is not in original condition
1996: Pre Glenmont, map and evacuation instruction poster
1998: Pre mid city Green line, map and evacuation instruction poster, map has Green line short cut instructions on it.

Will take pictures of them as soon as I can.

It's okay, I probably wouldn't have had time to do anything with them recently anyway, the holidays damn near killed me.
